Cost
The cost of your first attempt at each examination is included in your course fee. Resits are charged at £40 per examination and must be paid for before the examination is taken.
Examinations
To achieve your qualification, you will need to pass an examination for each unit you study.
All examinations are completed online in your workplace after you have completed the coursework for the relevant unit. Most examinations take around 30 minutes and the pass mark for each unit is 50%.
If you do not pass an examination, you can resit the unit. A unit can be resat up to three times.
Once you have successfully completed all the required units, you will receive your certificate from NCFE.

Your examination must be supervised by an approved invigilator who is a registered professional. Full eligibility requirements and responsibilities are explained in our Instructions for Invigilators. They must also be willing to take responsibility to ensure that the examination is conducted properly and they must be able to be present for the whole time you are sitting your exam. Our Awarding Organisation
Our qualifications have been developed to meet the specific needs of our learners and are accredited by NCFE as Customised Qualifications. NCFE is an awarding organisation recognised by Ofqual.
The learning outcomes and assessment criteria for each qualification have been benchmarked at the appropriate level using national framework level descriptors, providing an indication of the difficulty and depth of study.
These are unregulated qualifications and are not nationally regulated qualifications. On successful completion, learners receive a certificate of achievement issued directly by NCFE, providing evidence of the knowledge and skills gained through the qualification.
